Each week I participate in Perfect Moment Monday, sponsored by the blog, WeeblesWobblog.com. According to Weebles, "Perfect Moment Monday is about noticing a perfect moment rather than creating one. Perfect Moments can be momentous or ordinary or somewhere in between." And so, here is a Perfect Moment for this week.
Last week all three of my boys had their Spring Pops Concert. I'm amazed at how talented the middle school bands are, considering most of the kids only started playing in 6th grade. It helps too that they adore their band director (who is excellent, by the way).
Before the concert, I noticed a Perfect Moment when I saw all three of my kids (and one of their friends) all dressed up. Lucky for me, I even got them to stop long enough to take pictures.
I had several more Perfect Moments during the band concert as I sat next to my hubby and listened to the bands play. The boys' grandparents from Chicago and their Grandpa and his girlfriend who live in town were there and were equally as proud...so proud that we went out for ice cream after the concert...YUM (another perfect moment).
And who says band isn't cool?
