Just before Christmas, some of our dear friends invited us to go to a concert, Big Head Todd and the Monsters! The tickets were their Christmas present to us. The opening band wasn't my favorite, but I really liked Big Head Todd. Here's one of the songs they played called, "Bittersweet":
So we, in turn, invited them to dinner at an Italian restaurant downtown. It was absolutely delicious!
My DH and I thoroughly enjoyed our time out on the town. As I sat (with my ear-plugs in, of course) listening to the music, I was caught up in a Perfect Moment. We were out, on a date, with friends, listening to some really great music.
And just for the moment, it felt like I didn't have a care in the world. No responsibility. Just me and my DH enjoying ourselves.
Perfect...
It does sound like a perfectly wondeful evening. Good music and a great DH always does that to me, too. Add in good friends food and it doesn't get any perfecter!
